Meet the friendly staff at Meadowbrook Animal Clinic!
“We had hamsters, fish, chameleons, turtles, crayfish, parakeets, canaries, guinea pigs and oh yes, dogs while growing up. When we weren’t busy with them, we were tromping through creeks, fields and rivers looking for more of Mother Nature.” It is this curiosity of the natural world that Dr. Pytel brings to the clinic on a daily basis. After spending the last ten years as a full time, relief veterinarian, he is happy to return to Rochester Hills where he spent ten years early in his career. “I’m thrilled to be back in such great community where people love their pets and are so knowledgeable about veterinary medicine and animal care. A small practice is where I am most comfortable, working closely with and getting to know people and their pets.” Dr. Pytel lives in Shelby Township with his wife Karen, his son Christopher, his daughter Kate, and their dog Lily. He enjoys spending time outdoors with his family camping, canoeing, hiking or playing sports. It’s no secret that when his family or the clinic can’t find him, there is a fishing rod involved.
